The day is structured entirely around the priorities identified during your assessment, with your trainer focusing on relationship building first, before moving into specific behavioural work. Sessions throughout the day cover socialisation, focus, impulse control, manners around other dogs, and managing excitement — all at a pace and intensity that a weekly session simply can't match. At the end of the day, you join your trainer for a dedicated one-hour handover session where everything is explained clearly — what was worked on, what progress was made, and exactly what you need to do at home to build on it. Most people think socialisation simply means letting puppies play together — but done incorrectly, it can actually reinforce the wrong behaviours.
