From first puppy weeks to complex behaviour.
Your assessment tells us which of these is right. Most owners begin with personal behaviour and obedience training.
Personal behaviour & obedience training
Our most popular course. We start with the communication every dog needs, because trying to fix surface behaviours without foundations is building on sand. Once your dog can read you, trust you and respond consistently, we work through the issues that brought you to us, whether that is reactivity, aggression, lead pulling, jumping or poor recall. We finish with the advanced obedience that gives you real control in real situations. Most owners describe it as life changing, for the whole household as well as the dog.
Boost day training
A full day of one to one work with a professional trainer, from drop off to collection, built around the priorities from your assessment. Relationship first, then socialisation, focus, impulse control and manners around other dogs, at a pace a weekly session cannot match. The day ends with an hour’s handover with you, covering what was worked on and exactly what to do at home.
Residential & home life training
For dogs with more complex needs, or owners who want the fastest change. Your dog stays either in our purpose built training kennels or at home with one of our experienced trainers, depending on what suits them. Home life training means behaviour is worked on where it actually happens: at the front door, on the lead, around strangers. Every course begins with a full assessment and ends with a thorough handover so the progress continues at home.
Puppy pre-training assessment
A relaxed, one to one session where your trainer gets to know your puppy and your household, then builds a plan around the two of you rather than a programme pulled off a shelf. Bring every question you have.
Puppy socialisation
Letting puppies simply play can reinforce the wrong habits. Our supervised drop off days teach your puppy to read social signals, manage their excitement and build real confidence around other dogs. Ideal if you are at work during the day.
Puppy to adult training
Training that stops when puppyhood does is often undone by adolescence. This programme follows your dog through three stages, puppyhood, adolescence and young adulthood, focusing each time on what matters for where they are now. It is the most complete journey we offer, and the one we recommend above all others for owners who want to do this properly from day one.

One centre, two cities
We used to list Leeds and Wakefield separately. It was always the same site in Tingley, and it serves both.
What to bring
The equipment you normally walk your dog on. We may ask you to remove something like a head collar if it is masking a behaviour.
How long it takes
Around an hour. You answer questions about your dog’s history, then carry out some practical exercises.

Where is your Leeds dog training centre?
At Topcliffe Close, Tingley, WF3 1DR. Tingley sits on the Leeds boundary, between Leeds and Wakefield, and the centre serves both.
Is there a separate Wakefield centre?
No. Our Tingley centre is our Wakefield centre too. It has a WF3 postcode and serves the whole WF district.
How much does an assessment cost?
£50 for one dog, £75 for two dogs and £100 for three. Book a programme within 30 days and we deduct £50 for your first dog and £25 for each additional dog from your course price.
What kinds of problems do you help with?
Reactivity, aggression towards people or dogs, lead pulling, jumping up, poor recall, guarding and nervous behaviour, as well as puppy training from the very first weeks.
Do you cover my area?
