5 star service! Highly recommend bringing your dogs here for training. James and Harriett have been amazing from the beginning, taking extra care of our dogs. We have never felt comfortable leaving our dogs with anyone but James made us feel at ease right away with how he treats our dogs and us. We noticed a positive and lasting change in behavior from day 1. We can confidently and comfortably take our dogs anywhere with the training that James has shown us! It has been a great experience working with Tommy and the set up is very professional and comfortable, which helps when the dog likes going there. Tommy is personal and knowledgable and gets to know your dog well over the sessions. We also used the residential training throughout this period and that worked perfectly for us. No fuss and you know your dog is in good hands. We will likely continue to do this when going away etc.

It’s a longer process than what other dog trainers may offer but I believe that the techniques used are much longer lasting and sustainable. My advice to anyone thinking about using TDTC would be to be honest, stick with it and trust the process. It has certainly worked for us.

Im so pleased we made the decision to have training here with our rescue lurcher Essie, after reading the reviews. Zak was excellent explaining things and showing us how to train our very stubborn girl. With hard work from them, us and Essie there is such a huge difference and we're all much happier. Essie was scared of everything and pulling, her confidence, happiness and well being has improved so much. She's a delight now! The training is tailored to your needs and they are very happy to work with you, for instance we needed to introduce walking beside a wheelchair. Rhiannon was amazing with our 1 year old lab. The training has been really effective. When we first brought Chester he was pulling on the lead and generally not listening to us, even though he had been treat trained. We had 5 sessions and 2 boosts and from that Chester doesn’t pull anymore and we have a lot more obedience in and outside the house. We’re still working on recall training but again have seen a huge improvement and we know that if we persevere with the techniques Rhiannon has taught us it’ll pay off.

We contacted the Dog Training company for help with our 2 year old working cocker’s pulling on the lead. After the initial assessment, it was clear that there was so much more to work on than just lead pulling! However we felt positive that there would be a clear way forward and hopeful about what we might be able to achieve in the future. We attended the Sheffield centre for regular 1-2-1s and now thanks to Adam & his team, we are all enjoying walks so much more and have a much improved relationship with our dog!
